Magnetic Dots — support
A one-finger puzzle for iOS and Android. No account, no ads, nothing to buy. If something is broken or unclear, write to [email protected] — that address reaches the developer directly.
Dots sit on the nodes of an invisible grid, and each one points in one of four directions. Press a dot and it becomes a magnetic source: the dots around it turn to face it. Keep your finger down and the field grows outward in rings, reaching farther dots. Lift your finger and the move is committed. The goal of every level is the pattern the board asks for.
Two kinds of dots behave differently, and both are marked by shape, not only by colour:
A level looks impossible.
Every level in the game has been checked by a solver and has a proven minimum number of moves, so a solution always exists. One rule catches people out: a dot can only be turned toward some source. A dot in the top row can never be made to point upward, because there is nothing above it to press. If a level still seems unsolvable after that, tell us the level number — that is exactly the kind of report we want.
How do I take back a move?
Undo and restart are both in the bar at the bottom of the level. There is no way to lose a level and no limit on undo.
The move counter says I used more moves than "possible in N".
That number is the proven minimum. Finishing above it still solves the level; matching it earns "Perfect". Nothing is locked behind a perfect result.
Can I turn off the sound or the vibration?
Yes, separately, in Settings. The game also follows the system "Reduce Motion" setting: the turning of the dots stays, since that is the move, but the shimmer, the tilt and the spring overshoot go away.
Where is my progress stored? Can I move it to another device?
On your device — there is no account and no login. On Android progress is part of the system backup tied to your Google account, so reinstalling the app or setting up a new phone brings your finished levels back; if you have turned Android's backup off, a reinstall starts from level one. On iOS progress travels only inside a full device backup: deleting the app deletes it. Either way the developer never sees it.
How do I stop the app sending diagnostics?
Settings → Share diagnostics. It is off by default. Turning it off stops new collection immediately and deletes any crash report that was queued but not yet sent. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
